In the restored Fruit Syrup Factory of Borgloon, kids discover how traditional Loonse syrup is made, from fruit to jar. The Fruit Experience Centre takes young and old through the story of Haspengouw fruit growing. Educational, tasty and surprisingly engaging for all ages. After the visit, taste the result at bistro De Smaakfabriek right next door.

We'll set you on your way and pack your bike bag with a delicious picnic prepared by our colleagues at Haspengouw Per Fiets. In the woods, kids can play freely in the playground while the rest of the family enjoys the peace and quiet. A simple, fun activity that's always a hit.
